The NFL & "Bounty Bowl" (1987–1989): Played 31 games split between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles. He is famously remembered as the target of the 1989 "Bounty Bowl," where Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson accused Eagles coach Buddy Ryan of putting a $200 bounty on him. His career NFL stats stand at 37/55 field goals and 78/79 extra points.Arena Football Legend (1992–1994): Found massive success returning to Phoenix for the Arizona Rattlers (AFL), earning All-Star honors and winning the ArenaBowl Championship in 1994.CFL Finale (1995): Closed out his career with a dominant 144-point season for the Birmingham Barracudas.The Zendejas LegacyLuis belongs to football's premier kicking family alongside his brothers Max and Joaquin, and his cousin Tony (who kicked in the NFL for 11 seasons). Following his retirement, he spent years directing community relations for the Arizona Cardinals.
